Since 2008, Carolyn Powers’ primary practice has been centered around helping families navigate the range of legal circumstances they may face. Carolyn’s main goal is to minimize her client’s stress and aggressively push for desired outcomes. Carolyn diligently strives to amicably resolve situations in the most effective and efficient way. Carolyn’s has experience in all areas of family law, criminal defense, and small business conflicts.


Carolyn Powers earned an M.B.A. with a focus in Marketing from Indiana University in 2008, a J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2006, and a B. S. with dual degrees in Accounting and Economics/Finance from Indiana University in 2002. Her practice admissions include the Indiana Bar and both the U. S. District Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Since 2018, Carolyn has been a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator. Carolyn is member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Associations. She is also involved with many organizations that give back to the local community.  Carolyn believes that service to the community is at the corner stone for building a better future.


Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters and playing bass guitar in a blues band.
