Terrance Kinnard is a founding member in the Law Firm of Kinnard, Rowley, Powers, Jimenez, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Terrance earned his Law Degree from Indiana University in 2000. After graduating from Law School he worked at the United Auto Worker Legal Services Plan in Marion, Indiana. In this capacity he served the members of the United Auto Workers in various legal matters including Real Estate, Civil Litigation and Contract Disputes. 


After leaving the Services Plan, he became a founding partner in small Indianapolis law practice where he served as managing member. While a member of the practice his primary area of concentration was State and Federal Criminal and Civil litigation. While there he amassed a long and successful career in guiding local, national, and multi-national clients through complex litigation, mediation and negotiations. 


Prior to attending Law School, Terrance earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. After graduating he served as an Adjunct Professor for Ivy Tech Community College teaching Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling and Life Span Development. While working with non-traditional Students he found an interest in student retention, particular students from underserved areas and he went on to earn his PhD in Educational Administration at Indiana State University. 


Terrance specializes in Federal and State Complex Litigation in both Civil and Criminal Areas.  Terrance has been able to combine his clinical and legal expertise with evidence based research in critical thinking in a manner that allows him to support clients as they navigate their circumstances.
