Ms. Jimenez has nearly a decade of experience practicing law and representing individuals in immigration matters. She has helped hundreds of individuals with humanitarian visas including VAWA, U visa and T visa. Additionally, she represents individuals in marriage and family petitions, consular processing, adjustment of status, waivers of inadmissibility, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), removal proceedings, and Temporary Protected Status (TPS). 

 

Ms. Jimenez is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating from Pike High School. It was in high school that Erika discovered her passion for the Spanish language. During her junior year, she studied abroad in Cochabamba, Bolivia immersing herself in the language and culture of Bolivia. After she returned from Bolivia, Ms. Jimenez began an internship at a local immigration law firm where she was able to use her bilingual skills to serve the immigrant population. 

 

Ms. Jimenez went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Sociology and African American and African Diaspora studies from Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana. While completing her undergraduate degree, Erika studied abroad in Merida, Venezuela. She also was an active member of the Rotaract club of Bloomington, Indiana. She earned her JD from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ms. Jimenez is admitted to practice law in Indiana, Indiana Supreme Court, and the Southern District of Indiana.
